Friday is set to be an important day for Pep Guardiola's side as they await the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals.

The German giants are the sole representative left from the Bundesliga following Borussia Dortmund's last 16 exit against Juventus on Wednesday night.

The Allianz Arena outfit could be drawn against defending champions Real Madrid - who dumped them out of the competition 5-0 on AGGREGATE in last season's semi-finals.

In contrast British clubs progression in Europe has been a bleak one this campaign - with no representatives left in either the Champions League or Europa League.
